The final workshop will be organized to disseminate the results of the EVALITA 2009 evaluation.
Invited Speaker
Patrick Paroubek, is a Research Engineer in the Language, Information and Representation group of the Human-Machine Communication Department of the CNRS. His activities concern Natural Language Processing (i.e. POS tagging and parsing), human-machine dialogue, Artificial Intelligence and language emergence.
He is a member of the organizing committee of Passage the evaluation campaign on parsing for French.
Workshop Fee
Participants have the possibility to register for the main conference or only for the EVALITA 2009 workshop

Venue
The workshop will be held in conjunction with AI*IA 2009 and will take place on December 12th in the new building of the
Department of Social, Cognitive and Quantitative Sciences and of the Faculty of Communication and Economics,
located in the centre of Reggio Emilia (via Allegri 9).
Student Grants
Two grants of 200 euros will be available for students enrolled at the International Master in Human Language Technology and Interfaces to attend
the final workshop of Evalita 2009.
